Advances in Pediatric Surgery (APS) is the official journal of the Korean Association of Pediatric Surgeons. We aim to provide broad and in-depth development of pediatric surgery by publishing high quality research and case reports from around the world. The abbreviated title is Adv Pediatr Surg. This journal is published two times a year, on June 30th and December 31st. The categories of manuscripts are original articles, case reports, reviews and letters to the editor. The Editorial Board consists of editors and reviewers who are experts in the specific field of pediatric surgery.

APS publishes special articles on clinical and basic studies about surgically correctable diseases in neonates and children. The journal is distributed to members of the Korean Association of Pediatric Surgeons, medical schools, libraries and related institutes to pursue the academic advancement in pediatric surgery and to promote an active communication between the members and international societies of pediatric surgery. Eventually, the journal aims to contribute to cure of pediatric surgical diseases and improvement of public health.

Journal Infomation

APS was originally launched in 1995 as Journal of Korean Association of Pediatric Surgeons. It has since been relaunched under the new title, Advances in Pediatric Surgery in 2018. pISSN 2635-8778, eISSN 2635-8786 were assigned in 2018 (previously pISSN 2383-5036, eISSN 2383-5508 since 2014 and pISSN 1225-9047 since 1995). This journal is an open access journal, and the person using this journal website (https://aps-journal.org/) may use, reproduce, disseminate, or display the open access version of contents for non-commercial purposes. All or part of the articles in this journal is abstracted/indexed in KoreaMed, KoreaMed Synapse, KoMCI, DOI/Crossref, and Google Scholar.
